Mr. Becker concentrates his practice on patent matters, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the computer hardware, software, and semiconductor fields, ex parte and inter partes reexaminations, patent studies and portfolio analysis, and providing client counseling. He has a broad range of technical and business experience from working in both commercial and government environments. As a project engineer at International Business Machines Corporation, he developed hardware and software for IBM's analytical instrument product line. He was the lead software engineer on a large U.S. government space science project for Hughes Danbury Optical Systems, where he designed and developed automated instrumentation and control software.
