How To Attack Competitors’ Patents In The Us And Europe

Register for SVIPLA’s Seminar, which will take place on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 12:00pm PDT.

WEBINAR TOPIC

This webinar is about different options for invalidating a patent in the US and Europe and about suggestions for choosing the mechanisms appropriate for your client’s business situation.

A grant of a patent to your client’s competitor can be concerning. For example, if your client’s competitor received a patent, then your client may fear that the competitor could bring an infringement suit against your client. Hence, your client may wonder whether the competitor’s patent can be invalidated and how that can be done.

During this webinar, the speakers will address various options for invalidating a patent in the US and Europe, including post-grant reviews, oppositions, inter parte reviews, ex parte re-examination, nullity suits, and limitation procedures. The speakers will also provide suggestions for choosing the options suitable to the specific circumstances.
